Funny Story - Chasing the Dog with My Keys
It was my day off and I decided to meet with some friends for lunch. We had a wonderful time and as I was heading to my car, I got the car keys out and was holding them in my hands. This nice dog was walking with me (I thought he belonged to the owner of the diner) when he suddenly grabbed my transponder key and started running. This was not the time for games and especially with my car keys hanging from his mouth. I chased him all around the block till I couldn't run anymore. I tried to find the dog but he disappeared. I tried going back to the diner but the owner said he has no dog. I walked up and down the street but couldn't find the dog anywhere.

I had no other option but to find a technician. My day out with friends turned out to be a very long choice and I just prayed that the technician would be fast. I remembered that someone had mentioned Locksmith Solana Beach to me once and so I called them. The only good news I received in those last couple of hours was that the technician would arrive at me parked my car in about twelve minutes. That was a relief! I just wanted to go home, lock the door and go to work the next day. The locksmith was quick, made me a new key and had the kindness to open the locked car so that I won't wait standing.
I had just told him goodbye and was ready to get in the car when I saw the dog approaching me again. He still had the keys in his mouth. “Come here little doggie,” I said “give me my keys”. The minute I got too close he started running again. So, I shut the door of the car and started chasing him again. There was a dog in the streets with my car keys in his mouth and I just had to get them back. Eventually, I got too exhausted and said to myself, “heck with the keys”. I got back to the car only to discover that I had locked the new car keys in the car. “Noooooo!!!” I said. I called this lock repair company again. I knew the drill by now. It was good that the technician was still close by and so he opened the door and was polite enough not to tease me. Needless to say that the minute I was driving off, the dog stopped by my car, dropped my keys and just walked away!
